Grizzlies Land Two Players On Latest List

Between 2020 NBA Rookie of the Year Ja Morant and All-Star forward Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies have a superstar-laden cast in this year’s game. Memphis’ two 85+ players ranked in a tie for the sixth most leaguewide, finishing behind five teams (Boston, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Golden State) that had three players at or above 85 apiece.

The Grizzlies had the same number of elite players as the reigning champion Denver Nuggets, while nine other NBA franchises had two players on this year’s list. Eight other clubs had one player apiece on this year’s 85+ rating list, including Western Conference rivals, like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Utah Jazz, putting a wrap on the latest volume of the NBA’s marquise video game.
