The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs reach a crucial point with Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the third and final home race for NASCAR betting in Tennessee in 2025.
Kyle Larson has won the past two Cup events on the high-banked 0.533-mile oval, including April’s Food City 500. Denny Hamlin (above) won the two Bristol races before that and owns four career victories there, second among active drivers behind Kyle Busch (eight wins).
Here are odds for Saturday’s race (7:30 p.m. Eastern, USA Network) and a review of recent track history.

Who Has The Betting Advantage For The Bristol Night Race?
Larson is the favorite to win his third consecutive Bristol race, at +265 odds with DraftKings. He is also 60 points above the cutline to make the next round of the playoffs, which pretty much means that all he has to do is turn his motor over at the “start your engines” command to advance.
The two drivers that know they are into the Round of 12 are the winners of the first two playoff races, Chase Briscoe (Darlington) and Hamlin (Gateway).
Since 2021, Hamlin has finished ninth, ninth, first, first, fourth and second in six Bristol races on the concrete surface (not including the spring races run on temporary dirt from 2021-23). He sits No. 11 all-time with 58 victories in NASCAR’s top series, but he has never won a championship. At FanDuel Tennessee Sportsbook, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is the favorite to win the series title at +400 odds, followed by Larson at +450.
In the past 10 Bristol races, again excluding the ones on dirt, Chase Elliott has an average finish of 10.4, trailing only Larson (5.0 average finish in eight starts) and Hamlin (7.0 in 10 starts). Elliott finished second there in the 2022 and 2024 fall races but still seeks his first career Cup victory at the track on the Tennessee-Virginia border. At BetMGM Tennessee Sportsbook, Elliott has +1000 odds to break that drought on Saturday (compared to +1100 at DraftKings).

Denny Hamlin | 7.0 | 3 |
Chase Elliott | 10.4 | 0 |

Bristol Motor Speedway, which bills itself as the “World’s Last Great Colosseum,” offers Tennessee sports betting customers one last chance in 2025 to wager on a race close to home. Because the playoff field will be cut from 16 drivers to 12 after this race, there’s an extra urgency to Saturday’s race.
One driver desperate to turn his Bristol form around is Joey Logano, who enters 10th in points and on the bubble to be one of the 12 drivers to make the second round of the playoffs. Logano’s past 10 races on the high-banked oval have produced a dismal 19.7 average finish, 21st among active drivers, with no top-five finishes and just one top-10 run.
Over his career Logano has two victories at Bristol, in 2014 and 2015. For this weekend’s race, Logano has odds varying from +2000 to +2200 win, depending on which Tennessee sportsbook apps operator you consult.
