The wait is over. The Tennessee Titans stunned the Colts 26-20 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, grabbing their first win of the season when few gave them a chance. For fans and anyone following Tennessee sports betting, this one came out of nowhere. The Titans also snapped a six-game losing streak to the Colts and earned their first win in Indianapolis since 2022.

Titans Stumble Out of the Gate

For a long stretch, it looked like another miserable afternoon. Tennessee trailed 13-0 at halftime, and a blowout seemed inevitable. The offense was flat, stalling drive after drive and giving the defense no breathing room. Daniel Jones picked apart the Titans’ secondary and moved the Colts downfield with little resistance. The home crowd was loud, and the visitors looked like a team waiting for the clock to run out.

A 2nd Half With 2nd Chances

The comeback started quietly. Joey Slye drilled a 29-yard field goal to put Tennessee on the board, then added another in the third quarter to make it 13-6. It was not much, but it was a pulse.

Then the fourth quarter arrived, and the game flipped. Cam Ward found Carnell Tate for a touchdown to tie it at 13-13, and the Titans’ sideline came alive. Less than two and a half minutes later, Tennessee blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown. Just like that, the Titans led 20-13, and the Colts looked rattled.

Indianapolis was not finished. Jonathan Taylor powered in for a touchdown to tie the game at 20-20, and the building roared again. The Titans did not blink. Slye connected on a field goal with 2:01 left to put Tennessee back in front. The defense held, the offense got the ball back, and Slye split the uprights again with 47 seconds remaining. That sealed the six-point win and ended a long road drought.

Who's Next?

There is little time to celebrate. Next up, the Titans host the suddenly resurgent Cleveland Browns, and Tennessee is currently a 1.5-point underdog. Cleveland has found its footing in recent weeks, and the Titans will need the same fight they showed in Indianapolis to keep the momentum going. Fans scanning Tennessee sports betting apps for the latest lines will see a tight matchup, and for good reason. The Titans finally know what a win feels like, and they will want more of it.
