BetMGM Lounge Planned for Nashville Predators Bridgestone Arena Now Hiring
Fact Checked by Nate Hamilton

A Tennessee sports betting lounge under construction in Nashville is getting ready to staff up.

Job postings for management and top culinary positions were posted on LinkedIn for the BetMGM Sports Lounge. The restaurant and bar concept will open this fall at Bridgestone Arena, the NHL’s Nashville Predators home.

The lounge will be located on the arena’s suite level and is part of the agreement the two sides announced last December that made BetMGM an Official Sports Betting Partner of the hockey team.

â€śWe are always looking for ways to enhance SMASHVILLE and bring a better experience to the best fans in sports,” Predators President and CEO Sean Henry said in a statement when the announcement was made. “Integrating an industry leader like BetMGM into our building is a tremendous opportunity, and we hope to continue to grow our partnership in the years to come.”

No official opening date has been set yet for the restaurant. The Predators open the home portion of its 2023-24 schedule on Oct. 12 against the Seattle Kraken. According to OpenTable.com, the restaurant will only be open on event days, with service starting two hours before Predators games and most concerts. The bar will remain open for an hour after the Predators games end or when the main concert act starts their set.

While the lounge will carry the BetMGM name, another company with gaming ties, Delaware North, is the one that’s actually doing the hiring. The New York-based company serves as the concessions operator at the 27-year-old arena. You may even be able to find Tennessee sports betting promos here as well.

Bridgestone Arena to be BetMGM’s Fourth Venue

The lounge will be the first at a hockey arena for BetMGM Tennessee, an online gaming joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Entain. BetMGM also operates sportsbooks at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati – although the latter location will be moving out of the Reds stadium in the fall. It also was the first sportsbook to open a brick-and-mortar location at an NFL stadium when it opened its facility outside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, last September.

“The Predators are a tremendous organization with one of the sport’s most passionate fanbases,” BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said in a statement last December. “We look forward to our partnership with the team and the opportunity to elevate Nashville’s gameday experience.”

Online Sports Betting Only in Tennessee

BetMGM’s lounge at Bridgestone Arena will not be a retail sportsbook. Tennessee’s sports betting law allows only online wagering – making it the only state in the nation that’s online exclusive.

There are 13 operators licensed to take bets in Tennessee. BetMGM was one of four that started when apps were approved to go live for the first time in November 2000.
