Can You Bet on NASCAR Races in Tennessee?

Yes, you can bet on NASCAR races in Tennessee. You've been able to legally bet on any and all NASCAR races since the state legalized sports betting just before the NASCAR Championship race took place in November 2020.

NASCAR Races to Bet on in Tennessee

Tennessee is a great state to visit if you're looking for NASCAR racing. The state plays host to three points-paying NASCAR races in 2024: two at Bristol Motor Speedway and one at the Nashville Superspeedway.

Bristol

Bristol is one of the most iconic racetracks on the NASCAR schedule each year. Since 1961, Bristol Motor Speedway has hosted two races in the spring and fall single year. Recently the Bristol spring race was ran as a dirt race but the race went back to concrete in 2024. The fall Bristol race, previously taking place in August every year, is now ran in September as a part of the NASCAR Playoffs and has always been ran on the concrete surface.

The track which is just over a half-mile round routinely hosts some of the most exciting on-track action in the series. Betting on NASCAR Bristol race odds can be tough as the predictability is far from easy.

Nashville

The NASCAR Cup Series is new to the Nashville Superspeedway, racing there for the first time in 2021. Located in Lebanon, TN, Nashville falls under the category of a "cookie-cutter" 1 1/2 mile (exact length is 1.33 miles) configuration commonly found scattered throughout the NASCAR schedule.

There's a strong push from fans and former drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr. to return the series back to the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. It's currently the second-oldest operating track in the U.S.; the NASCAR Cup Series hasn't raced there since 1984.

Do Sportsbook Have NASCAR Promos?

Some sportsbooks offer promotions leading up to races. Sometimes the more popular races, such as the fall Bristol night race, offer promos leading up to the race that help you take advantage of the latest NASCAR betting odds. You can bookmark our Tennessee sportsbook promo page to keep tabs on weekly promos that come available throughout the year.
