Who Drafts Ace Bailey?

Philadelphia 76ers -400

Right now, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com has Bailey staying in the I-95 corridor, with the Philadelphia 76ers picking the Rutgers product third overall, falling in line after Duke’s Cooper Flagg and Bailey’s former teammate in Piscataway, Dylan Harper.

In keeping with that intel, we’re going with the Sixers as our top landing spot for Bailey in the 2025 NBA Draft, with the Eastern Conference stalwart checking in at -400 across Tennessee sports betting to draft him third overall.

Charlotte Hornets +600

There’s also a shot that the 18-year-old falls to the Charlotte Hornets at No. 4, who are the only other team on our odds board right now, at +600.

While some may question which position the 6’10 teenager will settle down in at the professional level, there’s no denying that Bailey has the tools to be an NBA star, showing as such when he connected on 46% of his field goals, 34.6% of his threes and 69% of his free throws in 30 games played with the Scarlet Knights this NCAA season.

The question now is whether Bailey can take the building blocks he’s acquired in high school and college and put them together on the sport’s biggest stage, with the rookie-to-be coming off a disappointing 15-17 campaign with the Scarlet Knights and failing to lift the Big Ten program to newfound heights alongside Harper in 2024-25.

What we know for sure, though, is that Bailey won’t have to wait long to hear his name called once the NBA Draft tips off from Barclays Center in Brooklyn next month, as the Chattanooga native is bound to be an early pick come June 25.
