Gucci Rules U.S., But Not Tennessee

For the entire United States, Gucci ranks No. 1 in brand awareness and brand popularity according to Statista’s study, and it’s No. 2 by a small margin to Burberry in brand ownership.

However, Tennessee’s Google Trends search volume returns a slightly higher ranking for Louis Vuitton. Gucci isn’t far behind, so it’s not hard to understand how luxury leather makers and the country music world go well together.

Louis Vuitton founded his French luxury house in 1854. The company produces luxury bags, leather goods, shoes, perfumes, watches, jewelry and other accessories. It is one of the world’s premier luxury brands.

One of the top places to shop Louis Vuitton in Tennessee is the Louis Vuitton store in The Mall at Green Hills in south Nashville. The Mall at Green Hills also includes stores for Gucci, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, which are among the top five favorite luxury brands in Tennessee.

Louis Vuitton ranks fourth in brand awareness and ownership in the United States, but it’s second in brand popularity, according to the Statista data.

Gucci, which was started in 1921 by Guccio Gucci in Italy, sells many of the same items as Louis Vuitton. It is now owned by the French conglomerate Kering. Dior, founded by French fashion designer Christian Dior in 1946, comes in at No. 3 for Tennessee, followed by Chanel at No. 4 and Yves Saint Laurent at No. 5.

The top five in brand awareness for the United States are Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Prada. The top five in popularity are Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dior and Chanel. And then the top five in ownership are Burberry, Gucci, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
