“What Do I Want For Christmas”

At the top of the list in Tennessee this year has to do with Christmas cards, with the search query “Shutterfly Christmas Card” ranking atop the state’s list of the most Googled phrases during the month-long period in question. Given the anxiety that comes from not having a solid Christmas card in hand, it’s understandable that many Volunteer State residents are hitting Google in droves to come up with a last-minute solution, while Tennessee’s other top search queries involve a Christmas parade in Knoxville and a host of holiday-related songs and movies.

That’s because the query “Knoxville Christmas Parade 2024” was the second-most popular Google search during the month in question, beating out “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” which was third statewide, while “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” was No. 4 in Tennessee this year.

Rounding out the Tennessee holiday search query list were things like “Sabrina Carpenter Christmas Special,” “Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland,” “Live Christmas Trees Near Me,” “Jack Black Christmas Movies,” “Lindsay Lohan Christmas Movie” and “What Do I Want For Christmas” — capturing how wide-ranging Google searches can be during the heart of holiday season.

Based on the rankings in Tennessee this year, it seems like Volunteer State residents should get cranking on their Christmas cards for the year, as it’s clear based on search interest scores that locals are taking their sweet time sending out holiday messages to friends and family members.
